THE CENTER
- Recognizes the challenges that individuals with learning and/or behavior problems face
- Recognizes the challenges that parents of children with difficulties face
- Recognizes that a whole family unit can be disrupted when one member is experiencing difficulty
- Offers interventions that are tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs
- Encourages a holistic approach that looks at the total person in all of the environments in which she/he functions (home, school, work environment, social)
- Believes that change is more likely to occur when the needs of all family members are addressed
